The Excelsior MAT 'Speak Up Speak Out!' Public Speaking Competition open to Year 6 pupils from across the West Midlands. We encourage children to make their voice heard on topics that matter to them. What equality means to me. What makes me unique. The most inspirational person to me. My most significant experience. Free training is provided for Year 6 teachers in participating schools.

Speak Up! Speak Out! Public Speaking Competition 2023 was held at the Midlands Arts Centre, Birmingham on 7 July 2023. The winner of competition this year is Bertie. His topic is "My most significant experience".
